Rich Bradshaw has been in the horse business for 39 years. He and his wife, Linda, live on their farm in Middlefield, Ohio. Rich offers weekly team sorting lessons in his beautifully maintained outdoor arena, as well as private lessons by appointment. He has been buying, training, and selling horses at his training facility in nearby Burton at the Geauga County Farigrounds for over 30 years. He is well known for his ability to "read" horses and riders, and match them for ability, disposition, size, and needs.

Rich has a diversified background of experience with horses, including buying and selling, starting colts, and retraining problem horses. He has developed a natural, resistance free method for starting young horses in a round pen and teaching them to be able to tolerate the routines and stresses that they will meet in their daily productive lives. Rich does not "break" horses, but guides them and teaches them to be solid citizens. He is always watching, listening, and learning more about his equine partners. He uses a positive approach to teaching the horse and rider, always adding a touch of humor and a comparison to every day life to help the rider to better understand his horse.

In his training facility in Burton, Rich always has several horses for sale--horses that he has hand selected for their ability, looks, disposition, and soundness. Not only does he offer penning and trail horses for sale, but also has a variety of prospects at very reasonable prices. He is a true expert at matching the rider with the appropriate horse! In the spring and in the fall, Rich holds the cataloged Maple Leaf Horse Sales, loaded with good quality horses for the discriminating buyer.
